Kids need people to look out for them, and our Kiwanis club is doing just that. We help kids around the world and right here in our Calgary community. Local clubs look out for our communities, and the international organization takes on large-scale challenges, such as disease and poverty. We are generous with our time, creative with our ideas, and passionate about making a difference – and we have fun along the way.
Northmount Kiwanis is dedicated to helping meet the needs of the kids in our community. We mentor and provide leadership programs for all ages.

Kiwanis Club of Calgary Northmount (hereinafter referred to as Northmount Kiwanis) helps the disadvantaged in Calgary and area, focusing mainly on children and provides our members the opportunity to help the children of the world in an environment of good fun and positive fellowship.
Northmount Kiwanis is a diverse group of men and women from various age brackets, cultures, and religions. We typically meet three times a month for dinner meetings, volunteer outings, “hands-on” service projects, or speaker events.
Northmount Kiwanis Club sponsors and actively supports a Circle K Club(University of Calgary students), a Key Club (North Trail High School, Calgary), and an Aktion Club (involving those living with disabilities.)
We are an eclectic mix of ages, genders, occupations, backgrounds, and interests. We are all passionate about making our community and the world a better place for children so they can thrive. We are devoted to serving the children in our local community and also children all across the country and worldwide through unique and innovative service projects and fundraising initiatives.
